2022 marks a decade of the Singapore Patient Conference (SPC). SPC is a dedicated patient conference with a difference – one where patients, caregivers, volunteers, community partners, health and social care professionals come together to share their care journeys and spark new ideas in co-creating a better health and social care system for all. SPC is organised by the Centre for Health Activation in partnership with Central Health, National Healthcare Group (NHG), NHG Polyclinics, Institute of Mental Health and Yishun Health.
This year, our conference theme is
"Building Healthier and Happier Communities". A radical shift in healthcare is on the horizon. As we make our way towards Healthier SG, everyone has a role to play in weaving the fabric of healthy, happy and resilient communities so unique. Building such a community requires a whole-of-society effort which takes various forms – from designing better living spaces which promote positive well-being to initiatives that bridge health and social care, and even ground-up movements that spread kindness and build strong social support. Our hope for SPC 2022 is to empower individuals, partners and organisations to join this growing movement and to support these meaningful efforts.
The conference is also complemented by the 8th edition of the
Singapore Patient Action Awards (SPAA) where we honour individuals and groups who have demonstrated exemplary qualities of care and contributed to health and social care in meaningful ways.
Join us virtually on 16 November 2022 (Wednesday) via Zoom and our dedicated SPC Facebook page as we bring you an exciting line up of speakers and showcase the selfless contributions of our SPAA 2022 recipients.
