Overview
Neurology services at Tan Tock Seng Hospital are run by the
National Neuroscience Institute (NNI), the national referral centre for patients with brain and conditions affecting the nervous system such as
stroke,
dementia,
Parkinson's disease,
epilepsy and
motor neuron disease.
NNI's neurologists, nurse clinicians and nurses work in teams to provide evidence-based holistic care. The teams also work closely with TTSH allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and medical social workers to support patients through their healthcare journeys.
The Neurology Department also conducts clinical research trials and medical education to advance patient care.
