Download PDF, 2.41MB, PDF

Eye muscle surgery (strabismus or squint surgery) is a surgical procedure that changes the alignment (position) of the eyes. This is done by weakening and/ or strengthening specific eye muscles.

The aim of the eye muscle surgery is to lessen or eliminate one or more problems you may face (e.g misalignment of the eyes, problems with depth perception, abnormal head position, double vision, eye strain, difficulty communicating with others, etc).
