Biodata

Dr Chin Chee Fang is a Senior Consultant and currently the Head of Subspecialty of Neuro-Ophthalmology, as well as the Clinical Director of the Clinic Management Committee at National Healthcare Group Eye Institute @ Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Dr Chin obtained her Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. She completed her Ophthalmology specialist training in Singapore, where she was awarded medals for Best Candidate in Cataract, Cornea and Glaucoma at the exit examinations. She has attained the Masters of Medicine in Ophthalmology from the National University of Singapore, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, as well as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore.

Dr Chin was awarded the Ministry of Health Training Scholarship and underwent a 12-month clinical fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery in London, United Kingdom, where she trained under Drs James Acheson, Fion Bremner, Elizabeth Graham and Gordon Plant. Her clinical interests are Neuro-Ophthalmology, visual rehabilitation and general ophthalmology including cataract surgery.

Dr Chin is also active in teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and is a National Examiner with the American Board of Medical Specialties (Singapore) and a member of the Ophthalmology Exam Working Committee.​
