Biodata

Dr Lee Munn Yi Tina graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and was selected for the distinguished Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery Residency Programme in Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Upon completion, she was conferred the College of Surgeons Gold Medal in Hand Surgery for her top performance in the national specialist examinations.

She currently serves as a consultant Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgeon in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Woodlands Hospital. She is also a visiting consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. She is well versed in all aspects of Hand Surgery, and has a special interest in microsurgical reconstruction, wrist arthroscopy, and small joint arthroplasty.

In 2022, Dr Tina Lee was awarded the Singapore Government’s Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) scholarship to pursue a fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery in Valencia, Spain. During her time there, she worked directly with world-renowned reconstructive surgeon Dr Pedro Cavadas. She was also awarded the Singapore Society for Hand Surgery’s Traveling Fellowship to further pursue her interest in Wrist Surgery and Microsurgery with the esteemed Dr Francisco del Piñal in Madrid, Spain. In addition to clinical work, Dr Tina Lee also holds various administrative roles. She currently serves on the executive committee of the Chapter of Hand Surgeons, Singapore. She also serves as a member of the Hand Surgery examination committee, as well as the Academy of Medicine Singapore’s editorial board. She has organised multiple workshops and courses, and is also involved in the planning and execution of regional and international conferences.

Dr Tina Lee is also committed to medical education. She currently serves as Adjunct Lecturer in Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, and Clinical Tutor in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She is passionate about teaching and honing the skills of future generations of medical students and Hand Surgery residents alike. She received the “TTSH Top 20 Teachers” award in recognition of her contributions.
