Adjunct Assistant Professor Sharon Yeo obtained her medical degree and Master of Medicine (Surgery) at National University of Singapore. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK and a certified specialist in Urology and a Fellow of Academy of Medicine Singapore.

Adj Asst Prof Yeo is currently the Head of Department and Senior Consultant Urologist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She is a recipient of Ministry of Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) scholarship and completed a Fellowship in Female Urology, Neuro-urology, Urodynamics and Reconstructive Surgery at the renowned Bristol Urological Institute, United Kingdom, under Professors Paul Abrams, Marcus Drake and Dr Hashim Hashim.

Adj Asst Prof Yeo leads the multidisciplinary Pelvic Floor Service in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, for Voiding dysfunction and Incontinence in both male and female patients. She also leads the hospital’s Urodynamics service and the Urology clinic at AMK Thye Hua Kwan Hospital for spinal cord injury patients and patients with neurogenic causes for lower urinary tract dysfunction.

She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and Clinical Lecturer with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. She is active in academia and research, and has published on her interest in Overactive Bladder Syndrome and Incontinence topics in medical journals and health magazines. She has also presented studies in various overseas conferences. She is active in patient and medical education and has spoken in many bilingual public and GP forums on urological topics.

Adj Asst Prof Yeo is the immediate Past President of Society for Continence Singapore, and member of the Chapter of Urologists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore and Singapore Urology Association.
