TTSH was conferred the Excellence Award under the Minister for Home Affairs National Day Award 2021 (Home Team Partner). TTSH was recognised for the close partnership and collaborative efforts with the SIngapore Police Force (SPF) in keeping Singapore safe and secure.

Nominated by the Kampong Java Neighbourhood Police Centre (KJ NPC), TTSH was recognised for the close partnership and collaborative efforts with the Singapore Police Force (SPF) in keeping Singapore safe and secure.
For more than six years, TTSH has worked closely with SPF in adopting their crime prevention strategies and supporting in areas that have enabled their officers to continue to carry out their duties at the hospital. Most notably during the recent COVID-19 cluster at the hospital, TTSH worked with KJ NPC to come up with interim adjustments to their response to “999” calls and coroner’s cases at the hospital. TTSH also facilitated swab tests for KJ NPC’s officers who had visited the affected wards and proactively apprised the KJ NPC officers on the hospital’s PPE posture, which allowed them to align their operational requirements.
This award is a validation of the strong bonds built between the TTSH and SPF teams over the years.
