President’s Award for Nurses 2024

Dr Chan Ee Yuee, Deputy Director of Nursing, and Heads of the TTSH Nursing Implementation, Translation and Research Office (NITRO) - was conferred the President’s Award for Nurses (PAN).
A champion for nursing research, Dr Chan’s work in evidence-based nursing and innovation projects have been influential to patient care within TTSH, in Singapore, and beyond.
Over the last decade, she led a groundbreaking research to better understand the plight of caregivers in Singapore, Project Carer Matters. Understanding the plight of caregivers, especially during a challenging pandemic, the programme provided valuable support to family caregivers struggling to manage the care needs of their loved ones at home. Project Carer Matters has since benefitted more than 700 caregivers, and will be further expanding to reach even more people.
