Our dentist in Special Needs Dentistry works closely with our medical colleagues at Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Medical Oncology, Geriatric Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine departments to provide integrated care to our patients.
The preparation and maintenance of oral structures are necessary in the event of surgical oncology, prosthetic heart valve surgery, radiation therapy, bone antiresorptive therapy or chemotherapy. Subsequent rehabilitation would help to restore function.
