Biodata

Dr Chua Min Jia is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. His practice focuses on all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, with a subspecialty interest in minimally invasive procedures and arthroscopic surgeries in the foot and ankle.

He graduated from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2011 and was accepted into the NHG Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Programme. During his time in residency, he was conferred the Master of Medicine (MMed) degree in Orthopaedic Surgery from NUS and the International Olympic Committee Diploma in Sports Medicine in 2019. He completed his ACGME-I accredited residency training in 2020 and was appointed Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 2020.

Dr Chua was also awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan award from the Ministry of Health and completed his fellowship in “Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) and Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery” under the mentorship of renowned foot surgeon Dr Peter Lam in Sydney, Australia, one of the global pioneers of MIS techniques in the foot and ankle and his group of esteemed foot and ankle surgeons.

Aside from clinical work, Dr Chua also sits on various clinical workgroups including those focusing on complex wound management. On the teaching front, he is a faculty member of the NHG Orthopaedic Residency program and a clinical lecturer with NUS and NTU.
