The Clinical Resear​ch & Innovation Office (CRIO) leads and coordinates research activities to establish TTSH as a world-class research center, aligning with Singapore's focus on life sciences. CRIO supports all TTSH staff in research, spanning basic biomedical to health services and population health research. Our experienced team is certified in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and knowledgeable about Singapore's research regulations, ensuring standardized processes. We continuously enhance our capabilities to assist investigators and pharmaceutical companies in biomedical research and clinical trials. CRIO also manages collaborations with the National Health GroupLKC School of Medicine​, and other research and government organizations.​

​Our Services

​Our agreements unit dedicated to assist TTSH Principal Investigators in reviewing of the contracts / agreements between TTSH and our collaborating institutions and partners. The unit is specialized in contract negotiation and ensures that the interests of TTSH are safeguarded.


​Our policy & monitoring unit oversees the governance of research in TTSH and ensures that all TTSH research activities comply with cluster and internal policies, the relevant laws and regulations and the international standards governing research​​.


​​Our Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) manages clinical trial conducted within TTSH. This team is well experienced in both industry sponsored and investigator initiated studies, including registry studies, Phase I - IV drug and device trials in all therapeutic areas.​


​Grant Management unit plays an integral and active role throughout the lifecycle of a grant, starting from pre-grant to post-grant close out and with numerous vital operations at each stage.


​​The Clinical Research Support (CRS) unit consists of medical statisticians and epidemiologist that work closely with TTSH researchers through the research process; from the conceptualization of ideas, developing study protocols, collecting and analyzing the relevant data, and publication of research findings.​


​T​he clinical innovations team manages project related to innovation and works closely with clinicians and collaborators in the field of health technology, especially medical technology​.​
