Pharmacy Week is an annual event hosted by the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore (PSS), which aims to raise awareness on the roles of the Pharmacy profession and to celebrate the contributions of pharmacists and pharmacy staff.
Our theme, "Know Your Medications, Protecting Your Health" emphasizes the importance of understanding and responsibly using prescribed medications. It highlights the need for patients to be empowered and informed about their medications, including dosage, side effects, and interactions, to ensure safe and effective use. By being knowledgeable and vigilant, individuals can protect their health and minimize the risks associated with medication use.
This year, we're excited to host a live atrium event on the 25 September 2024, 10am - 3pm. We have booths to educate patients on health monitoring (BP and CBG), how to read a medication list, and proper storage and disposal of medications. NHG Cares will have a booth as well to showcase the exciting features of their app and onboard more users. Upon completion of these booths, participants will be rewarded with a goodie bag.
