Needy Patients Transport Assistance helps needy patients with their out-of-pocket transport expenses incurred while travelling to and from their medical appointments; and/or interim dialysis treatments whilst waiting for applications at subsidised centres to be processed. These patients may be too ill or weak to travel by public transport. They can also be patients, who are bed bound, or wheelchair bound, making travelling by public transport a major challenge.
These patients, therefore, need dedicated/private transport services, such as commercial ambulances and wheelchair-accessible vans. Unfortunately, these services come at a considerable cost, placing a significant financial burden on our already vulnerable patients.
We recognise the urgent need for support among these patients with limited savings and insufficient family assistance. Your generous donation will greatly ease the heavy caregiving responsibilities shouldered by their families. All eligible donations will enjoy 250% tax deductions.
