Shared Governance

shared governance.png

TTSH nursing is committed to empowering our nurses and fostering a culture of collaboration. Central to this ideal is our Shared Governance Model, which supports our nurses in shaping their practices, improving quality, and enhancing patient satisfaction. Instead of relying solely on management-led decisions, this collaborative decision-making process actively involves and values the ideas and perspectives of nurses at all levels.

By embracing this paradigm shift, we have redesigned the way decisions are made, ensuring that the voices and expertise of our nurses play a vital role in driving positive change and continuous improvement. This inclusive approach not only empowers our nurses but also ensures that our practices are aligned with the evolving needs of our patients and the highest standards of care.

Liquid Nursing

We practise a flexible work arrangement that give nurses the option and autonomy to work on a mixture of routine and flexible shifts as they take on different nursing roles.

Buddy System

A friendly and informal network designed to help our new nurses, particularly those from overseas, to assimilate and integrate into the TTSH family. This initiative complements our formal training programs, offering a personalized touch to ensure our nurses feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to thrive in their new roles.

Healthy Campaigns

We value the well-being of our nurses, acknowledging that health and mental wellness are integral to their success. Some key events that we organised over the past years were health screenings and flu vaccinations, our collaboration with the Allied Health Department to elevate the well-being of our nurses through Traditional Chinese Medicine, Podiatrist and Dietitian services, and even free yoga sessions.
